Pick a lane... any lane.

So this is how i feel this week: Pick a lane, any lane. (mainly the sleep deprived one... AND THE STRESSED out One... never mind. i'm all 3.) Weekends and holidays are keeping me going this week. In 5 days i'll be on my way to california, and i'm so excited. I just need to finish this week, and i'll be home free (literally)!
This is also something i currently live by. Last night i had a huge bowl of ice cream to "celebrate a few hours early" haha! that's not even true. it was just my excuse.
Well, here's to a better tomorrow. May they be good and always sunny. (well, in my mind at least, the snow here kinda causes problems when it comes to that). Anyway, thank you to my friends and family that have been such a support this past little while. I love you guys! and to my family-SEE YOU IN 5 DAYS!!!!

so i figured out where my money goes...

So I’ve figured out where my money goes……….

FOOD.I’m pretty sure I have been out to eat so much in the last little bit. Now here’s the thing. It’s not necessarily a money problem.. it’s a problem with the fact that that now when I go out to eat, I am never satisfied because everything at each restaurant tastes the same… Applebees-ALL the SAME. Costa vida- (delicious) but still the same. Iggy’s-same. Brick oven (delicious) but same.
So ANYWAY… last week I went to brick oven for lunch with my friend Mary, came home and ate dinner with my gpa, then went to Iggy’s and got a little snack and smoothie for my friend’s birthday, and THEN went to applebee’s an hour later and had spin-dip and chips.. THREE times in ONE AFTERNOON!! (/evening) wow. Kinda sick right??? Yes. so now not only am I a fat kid, but when I go out to eat it takes me a year and a half to order because I’m trying to find something different that is going to taste good. So here are some pictures from after the birthday party (dinner at iggys) and then the following Sunday when we gave our friend his present. ☺

2. it's my birthday this month.. (hence the arrival of the birthday background) yes, i'm turning 21... not really exciting.. but kinda (b/c i'm a big kid now) that's all. any ideas for a birthday celebration (when you're mormon and 21 it's not quite as thrilling) =]

weird holiday... halloween.

I never really like Halloween… (well, my mom might beg to differ) but ever since I ‘ve grown out of trick-or-treating, it hasn’t been much fun… but that’s ok. because this year, despite my dislike for Halloween, I dressed up and played with my friend.. it was a fun night/week. For FHE we went to the corn maze, and then we had our ward party and we burned pumpkins and we just had a fun time… so here are the photos.. ☺ Happy Halloween (a week late)..

My summer trip home: So Ben came home with me in august to play with my family and i... it was quite the adventure. We spent some time in sacramento, most of our time at Camp Nauvoo (an awesome camping place my family goes every year), and we also went to six flags!! It had been so long since i had been to six flags and i forgot how much i liked going there.. It was perfect weather, perfect amount of people (aka no lines) and perfect day. I got to see and have dinner with Jackie afterwards as well. (SOOOO FUN!) i forgot how much i missed her! Anyway, here are the photos. (as always, there are more, but we're trying to be selective about what we put on here.. and by we i mean me) :) enjoy.

All in all, such a great weekend! i am so glad i got to see my girlfriends, and Jackie and that ben could put up with me and my family for a WHOLE week. It was a good time.

Dear Friends.. I'm going to need you to blog a little more so i have something to read while i'm at work.. Today I don't have classes, so i didn't bring my homework. guess what that means... i have NOTHING TO DO from 8am-12pm. I've had MAYBE a total of 5 people call and 3 people come in to the office. (one of which only walked in, looked around and said, "nevermind" and walked out) what a joke. so, help a sista out and entertain me! ;)

On a happy note, i get to go home for thanksgiving!! I'm pretty excited! and i hope the weather cooperates.. :) more pictures from summer coming soon!

So, this august the Foell side of our family had a family reunion in Yellowstone. we had sooo much fun seeing each other after being apart for the last FOUR YEARS! It was great to see everyone and we had a blast hiking, visiting geysers, hiking, swimming, hiking, eating, hiking.... and did i mention hiking? :) well, here are the pictures.
